LEARNING OBJECTIVE: To consolidate understanding of how the second derivative can help in establishing what kind of turning point we have and practical examples of these techniques

SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to establish turhing pints, describe whether they are max, min or inflexions and be able to use these techniques to solve real problems.

STARTER: Use Fooplot to explore the relationship betweeen a function its first and second derivative.

Now work thorugh this lesson to consolidate th4e use of the second derivative and its applications
